Join A New Dawn Therapy in Madison, WI

A practice built to grow with you.

A New Dawn Therapy was built because we believed a different kind of practice was possible — one where clinicians are seen fully, valued genuinely, and given room to grow in every direction. Not just as therapists, but as leaders, creatives, and community members. A place where the work you do in the therapy room is honored, and the work you do beyond it is equally celebrated.

That belief is what shaped everything here — how we make decisions, how we support each other, how we show up in the community we serve. We didn’t want to build another practice. We wanted to build something that felt different from the inside out.

A New Dawn Therapy is not a traditional group practice. It’s a collective — a place where clinicians are partners in something larger than a caseload. We are building a practice that lives inside the therapy room and extends well beyond it, into the community, into education, into content that reaches people who haven’t found their way to care yet. If that vision resonates with you, we’d love to meet you.

“Our mission is to create a space where clients feel truly seen and supported, and where clinicians feel genuinely valued and equipped to grow. We believe the best therapy happens when both are true.”

What We Are Building Together

At A New Dawn Therapy, our values aren’t a backdrop — they are the structure of how this collective works. Every clinician here is a contributor to something shared. We believe the connection between the care we provide and the community we serve is not incidental — it’s intentional. It’s central to who we are.

Authenticity

Meaningful healing begins with being real. We show up honestly — and we create the space for our clients to do the same.

Compassion

Compassion is the foundation beneath everything else — the human-to-human choice to sit with someone, bear witness to their experience, and hold space with empathy, safety, and care.

Trauma-Informed Care

Safety, choice, collaboration, and pacing guide everything we do — for our clients and within our team.

Curiosity

We approach our work and each other with openness. Curiosity is how we grow — as clinicians and as a practice.

Evidence-Based Practice

We are committed to clinically grounded, high-quality care and to the ongoing learning that keeps us sharp.

Community

We believe therapy extends beyond the session. Our practice is rooted in the community we serve — and we show up for it.

What Makes This Practice Different

We’ve built something here that doesn’t exist at most group practices. These aren’t perks — they’re expressions of what we actually believe about the role of a clinician in a community.

A Collective, Not a Corporation

Clinicians here are contributors, not contractors filling a slot. Your voice shapes how this practice grows. Your expertise informs what we offer. Your presence in the community reflects and builds what we’re creating together. This is a place where independence and collaboration aren’t in tension — they’re the same thing.

Paid Time to Show Up in Your Community

Every clinician receives dedicated paid time each month for community engagement. Networking, local events, building referral relationships, showing up as a presence beyond the office. Additional paid time is available for meaningful opportunities as they arise. We believe a clinician who is known in their community is an asset to everyone they serve.

Content Co-Ownership — Your Expertise, Shared

We are building a practice that reaches people through education, resources, and content — not just sessions. Clinicians who contribute to that work co-own what they create and share in what it earns. Your expertise has value beyond the therapy hour, and we honor that in writing.

Compensation & Benefits

We are straightforward about this: clinicians who know their worth are exactly who we want here. Fair compensation and a meaningful culture are not competing values — we’ve built a structure that reflects both.

  • Competitive compensation
  • W2 employment
  • 401k Health & wellness stipend
  • CEU
  • Paid community time
  • Content co-ownership + revenue share
  • Laptop provided
  • Furnished office space
  • Flexible scheduling

Current Openings

We are actively hiring. If you are a licensed therapist in Wisconsin who sees yourself in what you’ve read here — we want to hear from you.

Licensed Therapist — All Specialties Welcome

Full-Time, Part-Time W2 Madison, WI

We welcome clinicians from every specialty and background. What we care about most is not what you specialize in — it’s the kind of clinician and community member you are. Whether your focus is trauma, anxiety, couples, children and adolescents, perinatal mental health, substance use, or something else entirely, there is a place for you here if the vision resonates.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Licensed in Wisconsin (LPC, LCSW or equivalent)
  • Independent in their clinical work and collaborative in how they show up as a team member
  • Drawn to the intersection of therapy, community, and creative expression
  • Ready to build a caseload of 25 sessions per week (full-time) or <25 (part-time)
  • Excited by the idea of a practice that grows with them — not just employs them

Let's Connect

We review every application personally and reach out to every person we’d like to meet. If this feels like it could be your place, we’d love to hear from you.

Frequently Asked Questions

We use the word collective intentionally. It means clinicians here are partners in what we’re building — not employees filling a roster. Your clinical voice, your community presence, and your creative contributions shape what A New Dawn Therapy becomes. We make decisions with our team, not just for them.

We offer W2 employment for licensed and pre-licensed therapists in both full-time and part-time capacities. Full-time is 25 billable sessions per week. Part-time arrangements are available — reach out to talk through what works for you.

No. We welcome all specialties and clinical backgrounds. We are a growing practice and we believe in building a team that reflects the full range of what our community needs. If you are skilled, ethical, and drawn to this vision — we want to talk.

When a clinician at A New Dawn Therapy creates educational content — a downloadable guide, a workbook, a workshop, a resource — that content is co-owned between the clinician and the practice. Both parties share in any proceeds it generates. We believe your expertise has value beyond the therapy hour, and this structure honors that.

Each clinician receives dedicated paid time each month for community engagement — local events, professional networking, referral relationship building, and showing up as a visible presence in Madison and beyond. For meaningful opportunities outside this base, additional paid time can be arranged. We see community involvement as part of the work, not separate from it.

At this time we welcome fully licensed clinicians (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
